Divinyls were a rock group formed in 1980 in Sydney, Australia. The band had several lineup changes, retaining only central members Chrissy Amphlett (vocals) and Mark McEntee (guitar) throughout the band's entire run. The band released five albums - "Desperate" (1983), "What a Life" (1985), "Temperamental" (1988), "Divinyls" (1991), and "Underworld" (1996) - before disbanding in 1996. The band reunited in 2006 and toured sporadically until disbanding once more in 2009. Amphlett died on 21 April 2013 from complications of breast cancer and multiple sclerosis. Read more on Last.fm.
